School Start

Children may enter the building at 8:10AM
Children should be in their seats and ready to begin the day by 8:25.
Memory Period takes place in the Sanctuary beginning at 8:30 each morning (grades 2-6)
Parents should drop their child off at the school entrance. We ask that you pull the car all the way up to the playground so that we can fit several cars unloading at once.
Members of the Safety Patrol will help younger children exit their cars upon request.

ECP

Our ECP (extended care program) begins at dismissal and lasts until 5:30PM and operates under rules of the Maryland State Office of Child Care Administration.
Forms are available on this website. Fees are charged in half-hour increments.

Dismissal time is 3PM. Parents are asked to park in back parking lot. Teachers will dismiss their students to parents at that time.
Safety Patrol puts the cones at the entrance to the school side of the building at 3PM. Cars not in a parking space at that time are asked to park in the front of the building.
If a parent needs to pick a student up early, they must be dismissed from the office. Office staff will call the classroom and ask that they come to the office ready for dismissal.

NCCS Grammar School has special classes according to the following schedule:

Monday- Music
Tuesday- Physical Education
Wednesday- Instrumental Music
Wednesday- Chapel (Chapel attire required)
Art and Library are also included in the regular schedule.
Latin is considered a core subject and is taught in grades 3 through 6 four days a week.
