School Start
- Parents bring their children in the building beginning at 8:40 (for morning sessions) and 12:20 (for afternoon sessions).
- Preschool parents and their children enter through the church entrance of our building.
- Preschoolers drop off their snack and work at the activity tables until Ms. Denise is ready to begin class.
- If a parent arrives after the beginning of class, they must enter through the Grammar School entrance of the building.
Student Pick Up
- Preschool staff walks the children up to the church entrance (under the canopy) where their parents pick them up.
- Pick up times are 11:20 (for morning sessions) and 3:00 (for afternoon sessions).
- Written communication is carried in the bucket that each Preschool student uses. The bucket is used to transport crafts and other things important to the Preschool experience.
Special Information
- New Covenant is a co-operative preschool program that operates under the direction of the State Child Care Administration of Maryland.
- We are required to follow all state regulations regarding children’s health and safety. We do not follow State curriculum guidelines.
- New Covenant Christian School is a ministry of New Covenant Presbyterian Church and is considered part of the Grammar School.
- Our full time staff includes one teacher and one aide. A parent helper is scheduled daily as part of our co-operative.
