Grammar and Upper School Admissions Process
Step One: Come and Visit Us!
You are welcome to come and visit us any time. Just call ahead and let us know when you would like to come.
Step Two: Complete a Registration Packet
By completing a registration packet, you will officially be added to our waiting list for the coming school year. You will then be notified and offered the opportunity to be tested when openings become available.

Step Three: Admissions Testing
All prospective students are tested academically. At the same time, we will request records/transcripts from the student’s current school. Testing will be conducted at the school. When you come for testing, you will pay the testing fee and the registration fee. The registration fee is refunded if the student is not accepted.
Step Four: Parent and Student Interview
An interview will be scheduled between the administrator and both parents. The interview will take place at the school and takes up to an hour. The Headmaster often meets with older students as well, as part of the interview process.
Step Five: Notification
We will notify you in writing of our decision regarding your student within a few weeks of the parent interview.
Step Six: Enrollment Paperwork
Along with your acceptance letter, you will receive enrollment paperwork. Once we receive this completed enrollment paperwork, your student will officially be enrolled in NCCS.
Need-based financial aid is available. Please ask about a financial aid application when you submit your registration packet.
Step Seven: Tuition Payments
NCCS collects tuition payments via the FACTS Tuition Service. You will need to enroll in FACTS to complete the registration process.
Preschool Admissions Process

You are welcome to come and visit us any time. Just call ahead and let us know when you would like to come.
Step Two: Complete Registration Forms
Return a completed Preschool Registration Packet and the registration fee to be officially added to our wait list for the coming school year. The registration fee will be refunded if your child is not accepted to the Preschool.
Step Three: Notification
We will notify you by phone once a spot becomes available.
