American Education Week

We are in the midst of American Education Week. Tuesday, the first grade parents provided a wonderful breakfast for our grandparents and the children showed their grandparents some of the great things they have learned already this year. We were blessed with visits by more than 100 grandparents on Tuesday morning! Many parents and grandparents visited our upper school on Wednesday and enjoyed some snacks lovingly provided for them. Preschool grandparent visitation continues today. Ms. Denise had 27 visitors in just one day at the beginning of the week!

As I walked the halls and looked in at filled classrooms, I was struck again by the truth of Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” We are so blessed to have the staff that we have, to have supportive parents and grandparents “training up” our students day after day and hour after hour! Our families understand that the classical-Christian education being provided this day will reap benefits in years to come. These young people will learn how to think, how to makes sense of the world around them and how to speak to the needs of others. Thank you parents and grandparents, for your generous support of our mission. We will continue to make you proud!
